This afternoon Megan Lewis (on monkey bars in middle of photo between Jenea and Jaren) and her mom Katie came over to knit hats with us. The idea was to teach Jenea and Jaren how to do this as they expressed interest in learning the skill. As you can see the kids changed their minds and decided to play instead. Katie and I had a nice visit and were able to take JOY in the spontaneity of what transpired.
