JOY is friends.  The children enJOY riding bikes skateboards rollerblading playing ball and drawing with chalk with our neighbor girls Shayla and Shaylee.

Friday

JOY is a good pair of slippers and a nice nap!  Jadon's latest favorite thing to do is grab shoes bring them to me plop on the floor infront of me and say "shoes" so I put them on him.  His favorite shoes this week have been his Alaska slippers from Grandma Alaska.

JOY is spending time with unkle David.  Jaren has taken an interest in the game of chess recently.  Thankfully David knows how to play it and can teach him.

JOY is family swim day at the Oregon City swimming pool.  We are so grateful to have unkle David come with us.  Jolie got a nose bleed during swim time.  She was well taken care of by the lifeguards.

It has been an exciting week.  We watched 5 chicks be born.  We learned about death as we came home from shopping Wednesday to find a chick had drown.  JOY hearing the little cheep cheep of the chicks and letting the children each name one.  We have Pepper (Jenea) Pecker (Jaren) Shining Brightly (Jolie) and Soccer (Jude).

JOY is a mystery.  I was out back with the kids and noticed Tim left his coveralls on my back patio by the girls bedroom window.  After I posted on facebook that some mysterious man named Tim left his clothing outside my house my brother David commented that he left those clothes outside the window.  Apparently Tim is our uncle Tim and he gave the coveralls to David who left them out back.  Mystery solved.

Lately I'll come into my office and many times find Jude climbing in the window so he can look out front.  Tonight he did the same but ended up out front.  JOYfully he wasn't hurt; just scared.  Jolie helped him back into the house.

JOY is having a voice and using it to influence others for good.  I won this trophy in toastmasters tonight after giving a speech on postpartum depression.  I do belong to the greatest toastmasters group ever!
