Jaren loves playing chess.  He'll play with anyone who is willing.  Tonight grandma Graham was willing.  She won even though she hasn't played in decades.  Jaren enJOYed playing anyway.

The boys begged me to allow them to play with play dough.  I gave in.  Jadon sure enJOYed his first time playing with it.  Good thing it's non toxic and easily washes out of clothing and hair.

Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving!  This evening we had dinner at grandma and grandpa Tuttle's home with Angie, Ryan and cousin Preston.  It was a small group this year.  We enJOY hanging out at the Tuttle's.  The kids watched 3 movies tonight - yikes!

Wednesday

The one Christmas tree has been up 2 days and already we have 4 broken glass balls.  Jadon so very much enJOY's snatching the Christmas balls off the tree and running from me with them because he knows he's not supposed to touch them.

Tuesday

Yeah our first snow of the season, all of 1/16th of an inch.  The kids were so excited, upon waking they immediately got dressed and went outside to enJOYit.

Monday

Tonight for Family Home Evening we put up one of our Christmas trees and had cherry coconut bars for dessert.  The kids enJOYed eating dessert because it's a rare treat at our house.

Sunday

Yesterday I got out the kids winter clothes.  They were overJOYed to discover Christmas pajamas in their dressers they couldn't wait to wear them right away even before Thanksgiving.

Yeah!  We are putting up the Christmas lights.  We are not quite done yet.  I'm hoping we'll be able to turn them on Thanksgiving night? Paul did not enJOY helping me do this I enJOYed it though.

JOY is our first fire of the year.  We were impressed at how much it actually warmed up the house.

Today I was grateful for my brothers help in getting down the Christmas decorations from the attic.  Yes, that whole pile is for Christmas.  We still have 2 trees and greenery up in the attic. We are filled with JOY in anticipating decorating for Christmas.

Tuesday is what we call "Tub Tuesday" at our house.  These items hanging on the rack are items Jadon enJOYed throwing in the bath tub while the girls were playing in there.

Tonight for family home evening we played bean bag games with bean bags the kids made.  This was for Jaren's scouts.  JOY is quality family time.

Tonight Paul took all 5 of the children to grandma and grandpa Graham's home while I enJOYed a rare period of time home alone.  Jadon loved being on grandmas exercise bike.

I caught Jadon intently reading the Friend magazine this morning.  So cute!  My heart is filled with JOY at witnessing the sweet things Jadon does.

A bin is a great place for snack isn't it?  This afternoon Jolie dumped out the toys and she and Jadon decided to eat their cucumbers in it.  JOY is having children who like to eat raw vegetables.

Tuesday

Yippee!  I finally got my own laptop computer.  They had a sale at Wal Mart last week.  Now my husband wants my laptop because it's newer and better than his.  I've waited 6 years for one.  I'm so excited!  In the evenings when the children are in bed I enJOY curling up on my favorite chair with my computer and watching the only tv show I watch on a regular basis.  JOY!

JOY is a refridgerator full of Dave's Killer Bread that I got from gleaners just for being a member (o=.  JOY is also having more than enough to share with loved ones and friends.

On Sunday's we enJOY spending time with grandma and grandpa Graham.  We usually eat lots and watch a movie or too which is a real treat for us.

My children enJOY being silly.  This afternoon Paul got out his webcam and the kids had piles of fun playing with it using the special effects to make themselves look silly.  This is Jolie and Jaren in chalk.

Friday

This morning Jaren had his first Knights of Virtue class.  He made a sword and shield.  Tonight was a medieval dinner for the boy's families.  After dinner a knighting ceremony was held.  This is Jaren being knighted Sir Jaren the Virtuous (all the boys picked their own virtue).  We all enJOYed the evening.

I just thought this was cute.  Jadon sitting on the little chair I had when I was a child, playing with his stacking toys.  His beautiful smile brings me great JOY!

Today is "waffle Wednesday".  Jenea and I made lots of waffles, a whole month's worth.  We enJOY eating homemade waffles every Wednesday and have for years!
